Thunderbrook Farms is a 5th Generation purebred and commercial cattle operation located on the scenic East Coast of Nova Scotia, in Truemanville. Established in 1817, our 1240-acres century farm is family owned and operated. We take pride in our purebred Hereford, Simmental, Angus herd, as well as our Commercial herd. We grow forage and grain, and have diversified our operation with lowbush blueberries, harvesting honey and managing an 800-acre woodlot.

 

We believe that premium breed-leading genetics and sustainable agricultural practices form the foundation of any program. Whether it’s a calving ease sire, maternal dam, show or finishing steers that you are  seeking, we are passionate about getting you there. Our cattle are our passion.
